The Lonergan Group are pleased to announce our sponsorship with Celbridge Women’s Shed.
The Celbridge Women’s Shed has organised a book club, walking group, card games and day trips so there’s something for all women in the community to enjoy.
Theresa Whelan founded the Shed last September to try to tackle loneliness in the town.
Celbridge Women’s Shed was set up for women of all ages to reconnect with themselves and the wider community. Above all we want the shed to be a safe place where women can come together and take part in various projects.
Celbridge Women’s Shed believes that regular participation in recreational activities with others promotes a sense of connection and contributes to a person’s wellbeing in many ways.
“Our space, away from the responsibilities of home and work, allows women a chance to focus on their needs and build supportive friendships with women of all life stages and backgrounds.”
