Q. Do I need to provide any new or additional details when requesting delivery outside of Ireland?

A. No. All the information we require will be asked for on our delivery form.

Q. Will I have to pay import charges on my order?

A. For customers in the USA Duty is not charged if the value of the imported goods is up to US$200.
For imports into the UK, there are minimum thresholds below which duty is waived.
Duty is not charged if either:

  • The value of the goods excluding shipping and insurance cost does not exceed €135
  • The amount of duty payable does not exceed €9

Q. Will I receive an estimated delivery date?

A. You will receive a date of delivery once your order has been confirmed. If you need an item to arrive by a specific date or need a date before you place an order please email us at and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.

Q. Are there any restrictions on items that can be shipped (size, weight, category limits, and restricted items)?

A. No, we have no delivery restrictions. We have a flat delivery charge that we calculate per country rather than by order size.

Q. Will I be able to track my order?

A. We deliver using a courier service. This also allows for tracking, please contact us once your order is placed and we will supply you with your tracking details.

Q. How are the shipping charges calculated?

A. We have a flat delivery charge that we calculate per country rather than by order size.

Q. Will I have to pay VAT on items?

A. All customers within the EU including the UK and NI must pay VAT unless they have a VAT number. Companies will have the opportunity to supply their VAT number during checkout.

All customers outside of the EU are not required to pay VAT.

Q. Will I receive an invoice?

A. Once you have placed your order an invoice will follow by email, if you supply on, we will send you a copy of the invoice with your delivery.

Q. How can I find the price of items in my own currency?

A. We have a currency convertor available for use on our store pages.

Q. Can I pay in US dollars/Sterling etc?

A. We only accept payment in Euro but we do accept UK and USA credit cards where it will be possible to monitor both currency amounts.

Q. What payment methods are available to me as an international buyer?

A. We accept payment through bank transfer and most major credit/debit card payments (including AMEX) over the phone and on-site. A Paypal facility is also available.

Q. How are returns and cancellations handled?

A. Please find our Returns procedure outlined here. We will return all payments once the item has been returned.

Q. Are my transactions covered by PayPal Protection?

A.  Yes, If you choose to pay for your order through Paypal.

Q. What if the item is damaged during shipment?

A. Lonergan shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit Lonergans shall be responsible for replacement costs of the item only. We must be informed of all breakages within seven days of receipt if we are to replace or refund the item.
